The 150 years of combined experience of our expert engineering team is manifested in the design of each SmartDeco piece. Every angle, fold, and dimension was expertly calculated, tested, and perfected to maximize structural integrity and ease of assembly. The result is an amazingly strong product that is stress free to assemble.

This isn’t your average cardboard. SmartDeco products are made from 3 layers of the highest quality sheets of tightly interwoven fibers. Additionaly, we integrate a corrugated middle liner that provides a system of arches and columns. It is this feature that results in the mind-blowing weight to strength ratio of SmartDeco products. Things are about to get scientific. When the corrugated middle layer is aligned perpendicular to the ground, columns are formed. The columns increase the load capacity and decrease lateral burst by distributing weight. When the corrugated middle layer runs parallel to the ground, the corrugated layer utilizes the power of arches- the strongest known way to span a gap... just ask the Romans.

What started as a college idea to solve a pain is now a country-wide revolution!

SmartDeco was created by a college student and a recent graduate who think that your furniture shouldn’t hold you back. Whether it’s moving to a new city after graduating, studying abroad, or just moving to a new apartment, this is the age you can and should do it. Our goal is to free you from the constraints of expensive, immobile furniture so you can live how you want to.

What started as an idea became a reality through Kickstarter. It was inspiring and amazing to see how excited people were to help us along. To our original Kickstarter backers, we sincerely thank you and have not forgotten our humble beginnings.
